Details
The Gloom is aptly named. Mist rises from the Lake and collects in this low laying area. It pools in the corridors and rooms dampening all sound. In an isolated corner you are astonished to find Vindhya stood staring into space.
Vindhya does not reply, her Amber eyes gaze around in an unfocused haze. When she mumbles something incoherent and you realize that she is not herself. You hear a sudden gasp behind you. You spin round to see an Ullgath Shaman with a Stim in her hand. She turns and disappears into the Gloom.
They must have done something to her, maybe that was an antidote to whatever it is. If so you must get it and give it to Vindhya as soon as possible.
Vindhya Stands in a stupor before you. The Ullgath Shaman seem to have given something to her, maybe they also have the antidote?'
Vindhya puts up no struggle as you take her arm, the Dark Venom Antidote gives a sharp hiss. You drop the empty stim and steady Vindhya. Her eyes slowly begin to gain focus. She holds her head and groans. After a few minutes she stands and eventually recognizes you.
'Thank you Unit, I thought I was lost. My Mentor told me to leave the Caves and return to the Plain of the Void after we freed him. He said it was safer there. But a Warrior caught me and brought me here to see the Shamans. They think that they are communing with the Ancient Spirits of the Cave. I don't know what is going on really but I can tell you it's no nature Spirit they are talking to. I heard them talking about the Bridge, it's very important to them.
