Damage is one of the 5 attribute statistics that help to determine success or failure in combat against entities and other players.
Damage is related to the amount of Hit Points (HP) that are removed from an opponent during a successful hit. The more damage a player has, the more HP are removed with each hit. Damage can be countered with armor.
Damage is differentiated by type. Each entity and weapon does a different type of damage and armor and sets will have resistances in varying percentages to the different types of damage. If you wear armor that is resistant to the type of damage that the entity gives you should take less damage. The types of damage and their symbols follow:
